Marposs is a worldwide leader in measurement, inspection and testing. The company designs and manufactures a wide range of products and solutions from precision measurement of mechanical components before, during and after the manufacturing process, to process controls and machine tool conditions, from leak tests for all industrial sectors, to automatic assembly and control lines. Marposs is a primary supplier to the major automotive manufacturers, for both ICE and EV applications, as well as the aerospace, biomedical, energy, consumer electronics, semi-conductor and glass containers sectors. Inspection, measurement and process control solutions include gauges and compensation systems for grinders and other machine tools; manual gauges, sensors, probes and other gauge components; automatic and semi-automatic measurement and inspection systems; leak test and assembly solutions; hardware and software for data collection and process analysis, and equipment for non-destructive testing. Additionally, the recent purchase of e.d.c. has added functional testing systems for electric motors and their components to Marposs’ portfolio of solutions. This year at IMTS, Marposs will be highlighting multiple technologies and segmenting demonstrations by zones that include Machine Tool, Software, and Measuring. Within the Machine Tool Zone, visitors will experience the company’s in-process probing and machine monitoring solutions through an operating Fanuc RoboDrill cell. Additionally, in this area there will be dynamic displays on laser presetting and measuring solutions, and the company’s BLU single cable machine networking system for grinders. Within the Measuring Zone will be optical systems for shaft-type part measurement, hand-held gauging solutions with visualization, laser systems for gear inspection, leak testing solutions for medical components, thermal inspection for die casting, and functional testing solutions for EV motors. New software technologies -- SmartNet and Main Do -- will be demonstrated in the Software Zone.
