The landscape for traditional vapor degreasing solvents is rapidly changing. The supply of HFE's will be limited due to a major manufaturer exiting the market, the supply of HFC's will be reduced annually due to the AIM Act and other global regulations, and many countries are beginning to regulate PFAS in general. This presentation will provide information about non-PFAS options for both traditional vapor degreasing and vacuum vapor degreasing, and how to proceed with qualifying a new cleaning solvent or process.
