Title: CO2 Spray: a Low Greenhouse Gas Cleaning Technology

Description:

This presentation will review of the physics of CO2 spray cleaning, including how CO2 technology removes particles and residues, the impacts of applicator actuation on the cleaning effectiveness, and the fundamental differences between CO2 spray cleaning and CO2 pellet blast cleaning. Key applications for CO2 spray systems will be reviewed, including automotive manufacturing, medical device, and electronics applications. Finally, we will review a case study involving CO2 spray cleaning as an enabling technology for 4Wet paint processes and its impact on reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
