Olson Clay

Clay Olson is one of the lead applications and design engineers at EDM Performance Accessories for the HB Series Moly Wire EDM machines.  He has a 15 year background in EDM and the manufacturing industry.  In 2018 his focus switched from traditional EDM technology and into a new emerging technology called Moly Cut Wire EDM that EDM Performance Accessories had begun introducing to the USA market. With this switch came his introduction into the Metal AM post processing industry where this new technology excels at build plate seperations.  In 2020 Clay joined EDM Performance Accessories and became a go to source for knowledge and support on the most difficult Metal AM cut off projects.  He works hand in hand with the EPA team to develop the machine tools and technology and also handles all custom fixturing needs for customers.  Clay has introduced improved cut off processes to companies including EOS, Renishaw, Keselowski Advanced Manufacturing, Knust Gowin, Additec, Protolabs and many more.
