Mike’s interest in 3D printing began while working on a co-op rotation at a Cincinnati area machine tool builder. When one of his co-workers brought in a Solidoodle to demonstrate the basic principles behind the company’s first 3D printer project, Mike was instantly hooked. It was not long before he was using custom printed parts in projects at home and selling prints to his University of Cincinnati classmates. After graduating from the UC College of Engineering and Applied Sciences in 2017, Mike worked as an engineer in various aspects of additive manufacturing before co-founding GZERO Additive in late 2021.
