Rogers John (Jay)
Jay is the CEO and co-founder of Haddy, Inc. - the world’s first fully digital furniture company powered by revolutionary 3D-printing technology. Haddy is changing how furniture is designed, built, delivered, and recycled by pioneering an all-digital chain from idea to concept to print to post-sale service and sustainment. Jay graduated from Princeton University and went to work for a medical device startup in China, where he became a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He then went on to the US Marine Corps, serving eight years in the infantry. Following two combat tours, he graduated from Harvard Business School and became a consultant for McKinsey & Co. During this time, he founded Local Motors, a next-generation vehicle OEM, which perfected and employed the basic technology of Direct Digital Manufacturing (DDM). In 2021, he brought the technology to the furniture industry to launch Haddy globally. Jay is also a director of the RBR Foundation, which gives annually to the cause of childhood education and development. He is the father of four boys. He loves to learn languages, read widely, and design and build projects of all kinds, from leather to wood and, of course, 3D Printing.
