Barakett, René

Mr. Barakett is a co-founder and Chief Product Officer at Lambda Function.

Mr. Barakett has 30+ years of applied research and product development experience from within the Aerospace industry, having worked at organizations such as Bombardier Aerospace, Howmet Aerospace, and others.

Through the course of his career, Mr. Barakett has been involved in the development and commercialization of every single platform of Bombardier Aerospace, including the C-Series. René has closely guided commercialization of new platforms, by providing the marketing and sales organizations with the required engineering and technical leadership support. From his time at Howmet Aerospace, Mr. Barakett has acquired deep expertise in precision machining of large-complex components made from hard materials such as Inconel, Titanium, Stainless Steel, and other complex alloys. At Lambda Function, he oversees the product roadmap and ensures that customer perspective is front-of-mind in guiding development efforts.

He holds a B.Sc. Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
