Teipel, Blake

Blake is the CEO and Co-founder of Essentium, an award-winning manufacturing hardware company creating essential solutions for a productive and prosperous world. Essentium is a global leader in the material extrusion 3D printing space working with both large and small enterprises on a variety of interesting problems across all industry sectors.

Blake holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Texas A&M University, where he launched two other startups. He holds multiple patents and has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles.

A native of central Colorado, Blake enjoys watching sports, traveling with his family, woodworking, mountain biking, golf and is an avid skier.
