Alex Symko is a Safer Chemicals Specialist at the Toxics Use Reduction Institute (TURI) and plays a critical role in laboratory testing safer alternative chemicals for companies and organizations. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Public Health - Clinical Sciences and a minor in Nuclear Science and Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Beyond the lab, he plays a crucial role in assisting with the development of educational materials for toxic use reduction training and equipment demos. Currently advancing his education with a Master of Science in Epidemiology, Alex is dedicated to fostering a safer, more sustainable environment.
