Khan, Ikram
Ikram Khan currently leads the design and development of advanced warehouse automation and intralogistics solutions for manufacturers, distributors, and fulfillment operations throughout North America for PINAXIS. With more than ten years of hands-on engineering experience in automated material handling, CAD-based system design, and project execution, Ikram specializes in transforming complex operational challenges into scalable, high-performance automation solutions.
Throughout his career, Ikram has worked with organizations seeking to improve productivity, maximizing storage capacity, increasing inventory accuracy, and optimizing material flow through intelligent automation. His expertise includes automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS), shuttle technologies, vertical lift modules (VLMs), conveyor and sortation systems, automated guided vehicles (AGVs), warehouse software integration, and end-to-end material flow optimization.
Known for his collaborative and customer-focused approach, Ikram partners closely with clients from the earliest stages of feasibility studies and concept development through engineering, implementation, and commissioning. His philosophy is simple: every automation solution should be engineered around the customer's operational objectives, growth strategy, and long-term return on investment—not just the technology itself.
Ikram earned his M.S. Mechanical Engineering degree from Wichita State University and is passionate about helping manufacturers embrace the next generation of warehouse automation by combining practical engineering expertise with innovative technologies that drive measurable business results.
