Choe, Mike

Mike has been working in the technology industry for over 25 years with global roles across Sales, Operations, Finance and Operations. In Mike's current role as General Manager U.S. Automotive and Manufacturing for Amazon Web Services (AWS) he supports and advocates for customers in their transformative journey to the cloud, where is he is focused on building a healthy eco-system for sustainable success for our customers, partners, and employees. 

Prior to this role, Mike was the General Manager for the Enterprise business in the western U.S. for AWS where he supported a number of customers including Boeing, Nike, Starbucks and the Seattle Kraken. Mike also spent four years building the AWS business in South Korea, one of the fastest growing countries for AWS globally starting with a COO role, then Head of Digital Native Business, and finally as Managing Director. As part of this role, Mike built strong internal relationships at AWS to ensure our executive leaders understand, and were able to support key customers like Samsung, LG, and Hyundai in Korea adopt the cloud.

Before he joined AWS, Mike worked in FP&A leadership roles at HP and also ran Global Sales Operations and other leadership roles at CA Technologies, both in the U.S. and in Asia Pacific. 

Mike grew up in Northern California and graduated with a finance degree from Santa Clara University, and is married with two kids, all of whom are avid skiers who enjoy exploring the Pacific Northwest of the U.S. where he now resides after 12 years living in the Asia Pacific region.
