Jan de Nijs is a Lockheed Martin (LM) Technical Fellow, responsible for developing strategies related to Enterprise Digital Production. His career spans roles both internal to and outside LM. Outside LM, he has spent a significant portion of his career working for Small and Medium Manufacturers (SMM’s) that supply major aerospace contractors.

Jan joined Lockheed Martin in 2004, initially working within the Missiles and Fire Control Business Area in Orlando, Florida. During his tenure there, he focused on implementing advanced manufacturing technologies on the production floor and overseeing capital acquisition projects.

In 2016, Jan transitioned to the Aeronautics Business Area in Fort Worth, Texas, where he became part of the F-35 program. Two years later, in 2018, he was assigned to the Digital Transformation effort, a role in which he continues to contribute today.
