Jung, Youngsuk

Dr. Youngsuk Jung is the Co-Founder and CTO of MADDE Inc., a South Korea–based additive manufacturing company spun off from Hyundai Motor Company. He leads the development and industrialization of advanced additive manufacturing technologies for high-performance ceramic and metal components. His work focuses on binder jetting of silicon carbide (SiC), including integrated densification and post-processing, as well as multi-robot wire arc additive manufacturing (WAAM) for large-scale metal structures. His research and development activities cover the complete manufacturing workflow from process and equipment development to material processing, machining, and component validation, with applications in semiconductor, aerospace, space, and other high-performance industries.
