Thakore, Sanjay

Sanjay Thakore is Director of Business Strategy at Autodesk, based in the UK, where he leads manufacturing strategy helping customers unify design and manufacturing and accelerate product development. 

Since joining Autodesk 12 years ago, he has helped expand how Autodesk supports manufacturers across a continuous lifecycle, from simulating factory layout scenarios, to managing manufacturing execution, and connecting operational data from equipment on the shop floor, enabling teams to make better-informed decisions.

Sanjay has experience in marketing at Autodesk and product development at Delcam bridging the gap between product creation and customer implementation. He holds first-class bachelor's and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Leeds. Outside of work, Sanjay enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and playing golf.
